Phil Tuning

Phil Tuning’s mission is to help people grow their potential, achieve meaningful goals, and make a positive impact through the way they lead.

Through Targeted Development Solutions, he provides leadership coaching and development for executives, emerging leaders, and organizations. His work combines strategy, business planning, process improvement, and self-awareness to help people clarify goals, navigate complexity, and lead with greater intention. He uses CultureTalk to help leaders and teams better understand the motivations, communication patterns, and cultural dynamics shaping how they work together.

Phil teaches strategy at William & Mary’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business, where he brings practical leadership experience into the MBA classroom. He is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.

Before launching his coaching practice, Phil held senior roles with John Deere Financial across the United States, Canada, and Asia, global experience leading multi-national teams and aligning people around shared priorities.
