Cindy Atlee has been fascinated with stories and how they shape identity since writing her first novel at the age of 13. But, instead of becoming a novelist, she channeled her passion for helping others understand and express who they are in the world into a 20-plus-year career as a consultant, facilitator and coach.
Cindy is currently a principal at The Storybranding Group, a consulting firm that helps clients define and give voice to what’s best and most distinctive about them. Cindy helps clients use the power of who they are to create compelling brands, develop motivated leaders and deeply engage their workforces. Previously, she was the senior vice president of branding and organizational culture at the global public relations firm, Porter Novelli. Cindy’s innovative processes, trainings and tools have won multiple awards and been used by such organizations as Kashi, NASA, Volunteers of America and Procter & Gamble.
Cindy is a co-author of Professional Strengths, Values & Story Index, an innovative tool that measures individual and group “story type” (based on the breakthrough archetypal work of Dr. Carol S. Pearson) and Narrative Intelligence: A Practical Guide to Working with Archetypes. She’s also a frequent speaker and workshop leader.
