Theresa Agresta will ‘Define Your Culture’ at PSMJ’s 2016 AEC HR Summit
2016 AEC HR Summit
The Summit is designed for human resources professionals and firm leaders in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. The intensive, two-day Seattle adventure will be jam packed with the most innovative and effective approaches to performance management, emerging trends, recruiting and more.
“I’m looking forward to bringing the organizational culture conversation to such an important industry. Many years of my career were spent in the trenches of AEC communications and I’ve seen first-hand the difference cultural awareness can bring. There is enormous opportunity for leaders to embrace their cultures in order to attract right-fit employees, engage stronger relationships with collaborators, expand their brands, and more.”
Defining Your Culture
Theresa’s interactive, hands-on session, titled “Defining Your Culture”, will walk through the CultureTalk approach for auditing culture and uncovering the unwritten rules of engagement at a firm. She’ll focus on how culture is a critical element that can make or break strategic initiatives, from mergers and acquisitions, to leadership succession and recruiting and retention. Attendees will walk away with an effective way to define and discuss their cultures. The CultureTalk method will also allow them to build consensus with leadership and internal teams and avoid catastrophic and costly merger, hiring, and transition mistakes.
